    Pumpkin-Shaped Stuffed Peppers

    Let’s give ‘em pumpkin to talk about! Let's get spooky with these stuffed peppers that are easy to prepare when using our Al Pastor taco sauce! Let our sauce do all the flavoring, while you make the jack-o-lantern faces of your bell peppers! 



    1 pound of ground beef 

    1 pouch of Al Pastor Simmering Sauce

    4 orange bell peppers

    shredded cheese for topping

    diced onions and cilantro for garnish 



    HEAT oven to 350 degrees F.

    BROWN the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat. Once it is no longer pink, add the Al Pastor Taco sauce and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

    CUT the peppers. Remove the top off each bell pepper horizontally. Set tops aside. Remove all seeds. Use a small knife to cut holes into the exterior of the peppers to make jack-o-lantern faces.

    STUFF the peppers with your taco mixture, top with cheese and bake closed in tin foil for 25 minutes or until bell peppers are tender.
    SERVE with some onions, cilantro, or your favorite taco toppings.
    P.S. This dish goes great with a side of rice and beans!
