Green Salsa Chicken Bake
Stay in tonight and cook up this amazing Green Salsa Chicken Bake for the whole family! Our Green Enchilada simmering sauce is just what you need to take family dinner to the next level!
1.5 pounds of chicken
1 pouch of our Green Enchilada sauce
1 cup of shredded cheese
1/2 small onion thinly sliced
Cilantro for garnish
PREHEAT the oven to 350 F
CUT the chicken breasts in halves and place on a baking dish. You'll want the baking dish to be small so the bottom of the dish is covered by the chicken.
ADD the Green Enchilada sauce on top of the chicken. Make sure none of the chicken is exposed to prevent drying.
BAKE for 30. Remove the dish from the oven, and top with cheese and the sliced onions.
INCREASE the oven temperature to 425 and bake with the cheese and onions for another 8 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
SPRINKLE with chopped cilantro, and add some sour cream if desired for serving.
