We all love a good stir fry! Most recipes for stir fry have SUGAR or HONEY listed in the ingredients, so this is where our Pineapple Thai sauce comes to the rescue!
INGREDIENTS:
One pound of Flank Steak thinly sliced
4 tbsp of Pineapple Thai sauce
3 tbsp of coconut aminos
Juice of one lime
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
2 garlic minced
2 tbsp of sesame seeds
2 green onions white and green parts separated
Directions
Step 1: Mix the Pineapple Thai sauce, coconut minos, lime juice, garlic, white parts of the onions, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. set aside.
Step 2: Cut steak into thin strips and add to bowl. Let it marinade for at least 15 minutes. If you are making any veggies or rice to go with it, this would be a great time to prepare those cause the meat cooks super fast.
Step 3: Toss your meat in wok or frying pan until brown, about 5 minutes. Add sesame seeds and green part of onions and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Serve warm!
