Crockpot chicken wings are the perfect appetizers you need for your next gameday. These are not only super juicy and flavorful, they are completely hands-off so that you can enjoy the game and let the crockpot do the cooking!
Ingredients
8 Full Wings (16 party wings)
1/2 cup of Jalapeño Green Apple Sauce
1 lime
1 tbsp of cornstarch (or arrowroot)
jalapeños and fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
PLACE the wings in the slow cooker and add the 1/2 cup of Jalapeño sauce and the juice of one lime.
COVER slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 2 hours, or on LOW for 3-4 hours.
LINE a baking sheet with a cooling rack on top. Place all the cooked wings on top.
POUR the sauce from the slow cooker into a small sauce pan.
ADD 1 tbsp of corn starch and whisk to combine.
COOK on Medium for about 5 minutes, or until it thickens.
BRUSH wings with thickened sauce, then broil on high for 6 minutes.
